Hi Matt You may not remember me. Ellerslie School circa (what feels like) 1926! I left in 1983. Found web site and read about "Celluloid" and "Matt Devenish" and wondered if it was you. Then idly wondering around Friends Reunited and found that yes, it is you. but anyway - i played Lincoln Jazz festival yesterday - part of 16 piece jazz improvised/big band/world (gamelan) type affair with a conductor - 2 days rehersal the week before - it was a blast - excuse me for not mentioning it before - but i was a bit nervous as i havent played in front of people for ages - i met some brill players though....see you soon - i will let you know next time i play - which i hope wont be too long away...cheers
